Black-throated thrush

First scan off of Ryde sea front today and one black-necked grebe was west of the pier with a GN diver and gc grebe. 

And yesterday was the final day of travelling back home that included a stop at Whipsnade Zoo:

The lingering BT thrush 'showing well' and unperturbed by the attention.

Showiest redwing I've ever seen. And a Patagonian mara just casually feeding.

And before getting the ferry I had a look around Keyhaven: a long-tailed duck just off shore and three marsh harriers circled over at dusk.
