West high down - SE owl
Highlight was the shorty definitely. Plus one black red along the south fence line. Two swallows north.
Didn't hang about - watched it disappear low and east hugging the coast.

"This unexpected species record was made today during Discovery Bay! The Hummingbird Hawkmoth was spotted and filmed by Ian Whitmore in Browns Family Golf and Cafe just next door. It appeared to be attempting to feed on nectar from the daffodils in the table vases and most likely overwintered as a caterpillar in a cosy corner somewhere in the cafe".

And yesterday two kingfishers were seen along Wootton creek. They were seen flying off together and interacting as they went along.
