Falcon sp

Today I did my usual lunch-time trek - up onto Luccombe Down - then scanned over the 'bowl' to the north; and walked around the Radar station. The Red arrows did a fly-by, part of the D-Day 75 commemoration.
And then a falcon (bird) came into view over Nansen hill: I thought it was a hobby to begin with, and it was coming straight towards me: couldn't resist going for the camera; but when I looked up again it was heading due south?! I fired off some shots - but the dull conditions and wrong camera settings didn't help matters.
I've contemplated it being a Red-footed falcon; but I didn't get enough of it (seems to be my luck lately; only had to circle over me once or twice?!).
Anyway: I watched it glide south, out to sea and over the channel, up to the point it disappeared: interesting it possibly left the U.K.

The only photo of the falcon sp. (right side adjusted)

Distant D-Day commemoration - over the Solent.

One on the nest; this one nearby.
